My mum has said for years that my niece Ella looks the spit of her mum and me. This has been even more so since her 6 year old brother gave her a hair cut into a very seventies bob! So for this year I've taken a pic of her, my sister and me all aged 4 (ish) and photoshopped them into one picture. It's not quite finished yet, I need to talk to my photoshop guru friend to find out how I can tone down Alex's bright summer sun, and feather the edges a bit so it doesn't look quite so stuck on, but I'm quite pleased with the results so far. It did make me laugh that out of all our childhood pictures there isn't one of my sister with her clothes on, or one of me smiling. Which I think kind of summarises our respective personalities!!!!

That's a really good idea, Olivia. I think your mum will appreciate it very much.

What a brilliant idea! How clever of you to put the 3 pics together. Your Mum is going to be speachless with emotion when she sees the final pic. You really do all look very similar but there's no mistaking which one you are.

LOL Pam - yes, I still pull that scowl these days It is my sister and niece who look insanely similar!!! When Dad and I were going through the albums there were so many where they just looked like twins. To be fair it was my dad's idea - he just didn't quite have the technical know how to pull it off. Hopefully she'll like it - well I know she will, you know what mum's are like!
