I know what you mean Vanda ! I am quite organised this year for a change and booked a delivery slot on Tescos a while ago. I've just been adding to the order as and when I remember things. Having said that, it is Just John and I this year and we are eating out Christmas day so I don't really need a great deal anyhow. [Having said this now ..half my groceries probably won't turn up lol]

Goodness knows! I haven't thought that far ahead yet. We are not at home this year, we are eating with friends as its our first Christmas without Mum and Jill kindly offered to help me make Christmas completely different this year. However, I will still have to have food in for the other meals and days

Well I've been very organised and booked Tesco slots right into the New Year so I won't have to go food shopping at all! My veg box comes today, fish man has just been and all my local meat has been delivered so I can put my feet up and plan how to cook this goose! I won't be ging into town at all till way into next year. A friend is coming over this afternoon to do my hair and tomorrow I'm at Roma's having a relaxing neck and shoulder massage so I'm all set for Christmas!

Wish I had time to do shopping......work is manic!! I can see I'll be battling my way around Tesco at the weekend which I HATE with a vengeance. People can be so bloody rude and I try to do it with a season-of-goodwill-attitude but by the time I leave the shop there'll be steam coming out of my ears and my blood pressure will be through the roof.
I tried to do it on-line, but there's a problem with my Tesco login, it won't let me create a new one with the same email address and the helpline wasn't answered when I called. So I was stuck
I'm afraid I'm not a Christmas person any more...maybe something to do with living alone? Perhaps when (if) I'm a granny and there are children around again I'll feel more like making an effort........miserable aren't I? LOL

Well I did the bulk of it this evening around 6pm and it was really quiet, all I have to do is pick up the fresh veg now. Pam I have never tried goose and Tony and I were only saying this evening that we would like to give it a go one year, the only problem is I have a lovely boned and stuffed turkey given to us my our friends every year and this year I have been given a huge crown of turkey as well lol.
