Thought you might like to know how Jasper is settling in.......
He's absolutely delightful. My hands and knees (yes, knees! LOL) are scratched to bits, but he's such a happy little soul.
He has learned to retrieve!! Leann gave him a toy mouse which he loves and if I throw it for him he scampers over to it, chucks it around for a bit and then picks it up in his mouth, trots back to me and drops it for me to throw again. Amazing......
He also kisses me! LOL If I make kissy noises he pushes his little nose against my lips. I hate to think of the germs - but it's ever so sweet.
He's totally bonded with me and follows me everywhere. He's so like Barney in character, although not as timid with strangers. I still miss Barney dreadfully and Jas had made me cry when he's done things that are so Barney-like. He even makes a little chirrupy greeting noise to me like Barney used to, and touches my leg with his tail when I'm working in the kitchen.
Lena has more or less stopped hissing at him although she growls if he takes liberties with her. I don't think it'll be long before they're curled up together.
