but so far I am unconvinced!
I parked my car this morning, only to have a policeman visit me about an hour later to say someone else's car has rolled down a hill on its own and parked itself in my front end! Mine, needless to say is not drivable!
What a good start to the year! NOT!

Bloody hell, Penny!! NOT what you need! Hope the owner of the other car is insured and they'll provide you with a nice hire car until yours is fixed. It is fixable isn't it - not a write off??

I don't think its a write off, although it is a mess. The metal under the bumper is bent right back into the tyre on the passenger side. There are pipes etc hanging off underneath and it has been shunted down the road about 12 feet. Actually in a way I wish they would write it off, this is the second time this has happened to me with the same car. Last time, a lorry hit it on the passenger side back corner and then took two door panels with him. ;D ;D ;D

That's not good news Penny! At least the other person was traceable and didn't do a bunk, so hopefully you'll get it all sorted on insurance. Although not what you need

Oh no Penny - I hope they give you a nice courtesy car really quickly. Public transport at this time of year is no fun at all.

oh fortunately someone from work who doesnt live as far away as me took pity on me and took me home. I am so grateful, I am not a bus fanatic and certainly not used to them one bit. Courtesy car didn't arrive, but they tell me it will tomorrow. I am keeping my fingers crossed for something with at least more than two doors

Good grief! What a nightmare. At least they got the car owners who did it, they must feel pretty bad too! At least you weren't in it at the time, and no-one was hurt. Small comfort I know.
