Oh dear, you really are in the wars just now Try to keep up with the rest, ice and elevation. Arnica montana tablets in and gel on for the first two days to help reduce the swelling. Keep in mind with a sprain each time you hobble around, you'll be reinjuring it. And if you can't get weight on it, get to the ER....it'll need an xray. Have sprained my own ankle so many times I've lost count. TRULY can feel for you with this one Definitely a good excuse to kick back and read through DFs And to be waited on hand and foot! ;D

Thanks everyone, i am kicking myself what a stupid thing to do. Did a bit to much (not usual amount). and it was swollen up more last night, so up all day today. The bruising is coming out, which is got to be a good sign??? OH bless him turned the ponies out for me, and i am sure if a hobble out later and muck out he will bring them in for me, he is angel.

Here's a few more kicks coming your way ~ UU !! Keeep off it!!! I know its tempting to carry on as usual, but a sprain is actually harder to mend than a full break. And I'm not so sure you haven't fractured something in all that. I know it seems ultra silly the way you sprained it, but I did the exact same as I went to work ages ago. I stepped off the curb to get on my bike, and crunch...just like you did. And it was one of my 'better' sprains, meaning I'd botched it but good. Rely on your angelic OH for now, and try to keep your ankle upright and minimize any movement with it
