in high heels!!!!
Needed to cheer myself up and as I came out of Sainsburys went into Matalan on impulse. Ended up buying a tunic top, 2 belts, a little bag and a pair of high heels for £11.20!
Joe couldn't believe it when he came home. I was trying to walk downstairs as he came through the front door and he wondered who the hell was in the house! He's never really seen me in high heels. I'm a flat comfortable shoe sort of girl really.
Now, how the hell do you WALK in them? How on earth do people wear them all day and not cripple themselves?
I'm going to a family party this weekend and I think I'm going to do a lot of sitting down! LOL!

Invest in some party feet. They are a gel insert that sooo help the balls of your feet when you are wearing heels.

If you're struggling sober imagine what you'd be like p*ssed! LOL! Broken ankles take time to mend and the physio's hell!!!!! Have a nice party.
PS I can't do heels of any altitude!

I wear heels at work all the time, although I can't do the high stilettos that some of the girls wear. It just takes practice, Linda....if your feet can bear it! Swing your hips and walk slowly - it'll come.

I've avoided them for years as well. Hated the wretched things!! But I learned I could balance in them fairly well if I put the weight on the balls of my feet, not the heel. Practice on a hard even surface first. Carpeting is one of the hardest to walk across. And yes, you'll be leaving divets on the lawn if you're not careful.

LOL Linda, I can just see you in those!! Aren't you tall enough already?! Make sure you take them off once you've had a few I really cannot walk in heels, apart from being uncomfortable I just can't balance. I bought myself a pair of ankle boots with the smallest of heels and even had problems with those LOL! To think of the platforms I used to wear when younger ...... I'm surprised I didn't break a leg!!

Yes Linda, it just takes a bit of practice just walking around the house or some pavement with them on. I would also recommend getting party feet as well because after a while you feet can begin to hurt.
