Choc is looking more perky and munching hay and drinking so that's good, thanks for the good vibes! She's shut in the yard with Pants. The poor Daleses are shut out in the fields so will be like hippos tomorrow!
I don't know whether to go to bed now or stay up and check Choc again later. I feel bad and tired so may go now and get up early in the morning, unless I have to get up in the night for myself then I may go out again.
I can have my official birthday in March as I should have been born on the 20th I think. I actually arrived on my brother's first birthday, how rare is that, and was whisked off to hospital as I was a bit small at 4lbs.
See you all tomorrow.

Got up at 6 something and put out some more hay and let the mud monsters in!! LOL! Choc looking more chirpy though not back to normal. Back to bed.
Got up at nine to do normal stuff and she didn't want her breakfast but she had munched tons of hay! Vet rang whilst I was out (typical) and he'd been over at 8.30 to check her but "not managed to rouse us!" LOL!! He was happy with her though, so I have a call back in to him to see what's what. I'm going back to bed after that!
I can't believe how much the grass is growing (well that which is not under water!) What happened to "proper" winters?!

Choc has a "bug" cos of the crappy weather, poor love, she's sensitive! I should expect loose poos or a snotty nose! (Not sure if that's me or her! Ha ha!) But otherwise fine, and it shouldn't hurt foalie even if she gives it to Amy (whew!). My tummy still hurts but at least I've stopped honking! God bless the little pills! Has anyone got some good news??!

Glad to hear Choc's feeling a touch better, and so are you. Gentle as it goes With any luck, Amy will give the whole nasty thing a miss, and you can go out partying in a week or so when you're feeling better.

Well, Amy has a snotty nose and Choc only ate half her breakfast so must still be feeling under the weather, but on the plus (??) side both the boys are in my face demanding to be fed! LOL! I need to do some fence moving today as everyone keeps coming in with half the hedge in their manes (ie we've eaten all the grass, mummy, and there's only sticks and worms left!) which won't be joyous as everywhere is sodden. I am amazed how much the grass is growing, the fields I've shut up are green and flush already, which doesn't bode well for a good laminitis year especially as none of the fatties seem to have lost much weight yet. Oh dear.

Yes, I've started to get a bit worried about the lush looking grass sprouting through. Surely we will have some propper cold weather still.........
