I have had a really cr*ppy day!!
I woke up early this morning feeling a bit dodgy and proceeded to throw up about every hour, I also had really bad stomach pains so Steve rang the Drs and I went in to see them. They don't know what's amiss but not appendix thankfully, wrong side, so gave me some anti nausea pills and some strong pain killers and sent me home to bed.
Sue kindly did ponies but Choc wasn't eating tonight, I had a look and thought colic, but temp of 39 degC. So the vet's been out, probably not colic, just a bug, so she's had a painkilling jab (to which she reacted badly so only had half) and I've got to keep her under observation every hour or so and the vet will be back in the morning. I would rather be back in bed!! I'm hoping it's nothing evil that Amy can catch.
What a pair of crocs we are!!
Poor Steve has gone to the pub for dinner (at my insistence) but can't drink in case we have to trailer Choc somewhere as I'm in no fit state to do much. Poor lad!
Send some good vibes for Choccie please!

Oh no!  Sounds like you've got that horrid stomach bug that has been going round - loads of people round here have been suffering badly with it. Now poor Choc as well! I do hope she is OK and no trips to the vet required. You must be sick with worry in case Amy gets it too. Fingers crossed they will all be OK by tomorrow. What a miserable way to spend your birthday. Healing vibes to you all on their way! |

Oh Luce - what a miserable birthday!! You'll have to postpone it and have it next weekend instead when you're feeling better.

Oh Lucy, you poor thing! You will have to postpone your birthday till things have settled down, a bit like the Queen. After all, she has a real birthday AND an official one!
