Rain can we have my fields are all waterlogged the ponies look soooo miserable, today I went up to turn Merls and Tommy out and within an hour they were back standing by the gate so I have brought them back in........I hate wet!!!!!!!

Been there, done that.... I actually enjoy the rain and wet (ducks and runs), but if you haven't got waterproofs, and especially if you haven't got somewhere warm and dry to dry out once it awhile, it does get old. Sending along some for you and the ponies.

I know, Van, I'm sick to death of struggling to walk through liquid mud. Is it ever going to dry up? I heard the other day that we are heading for the wetest January ever!

Yep, same here, I cant believe how much it has rained! we have lakes on the field and the one field we are using hasnt got 1 blade of grass!

One of our local farmers was telling me the other day that the fourcast is for one of the coldest Febuary,s on record, has anyone else heard this? as long as it dose,nt blurdi rain as well !

No, I haven't heard that, Van. I hope that forecast is wrong - I'm ready for a dry, warm spring! If this wet ground freezes it will be really treacherous.
