I am looking for a good vit and min supplement to feed Bill. He currently has a scoop of Safe and Sound with apples and carrots and that's it. I don't think there is enough goodness in the grass to give him what he needs. He is on the Winter grazing at night and on better stuff in the day but it is going down fast! He has also been chewing wood quite a bit. It's difficult to put a lick in the field as he shares with 2 other horses, so I thought a food supplement would be best.
Can anyone recommend anything? I have used Equivite in the past but I wondered if there was anything else?

I've only ever used Yellow Rockies as they are safe for all animals, and they don't go and go at them, only use them when they need to. They are about £13 for a big block from agricultural merchants, and last a good couple of months. Could you share the cost with the other horses owners?

I use Event supplement which I got from my vet it is about £30 for 3 months supply. You dose with a syringe once monthly and it covers everything. It saves me a fortune!
