Does anyone use Simple System feeds for their ponies? www.simplesystem.co.uk/index.aspI'd like to feed Jay a more forage-based diet and have been looking at their site. Has anyone any experiences with simple systems...good or bad?

I don't feed it myself but I think a few people on here do or have done. I went to one of their talks some years ago and was very impressed. I did try some of their feeds but 2 of my 3 wouldn't touch it so I gave up. I do stick to a foarge based diet though.

I feed the same ingredients that they use, but the makes that are readily available locally, as I am not well organised enough to order it in in advance - I would keep running out. It was talking to them a few years ago at Herts Show that helped me formulate a suitable forage only diet for mine though.

I've always wanted to try and keep jay to a forage only diet. He's never had concentrates in high quantities as he's not needed them to that extent, but it would be nice to loose them completely. I've emailed them to see which of their products they'd recommend for him

If it's any help I feed my two, who are 5 and 6 yo, Hi Fi Lite, Speedi beet, Readi Linseed, and Formula 4 Feet, along with well soaked hay. They are working daily on that, and look shiney, fit and well, and are very sane and sensible.
