I could just do with getting a shower sheet, so there is no lining that will make Jasper hot, but will keep him dry when it rains so i can go riding. It want be on him all the time, but like today, i have got a lesson in an hours time, so could do with something light to put on him to keep him dry. Anyone got any good makes that they use???

Tesco extra have some horsey stuff for sale on a trial basis at the moment, and I've just bought a summer turnout for George. Haven't tried it on yet but the quality looks OK. It's got cross surcingles, leg straps, fleecy wither pad, tail flap, leg gussets and is mainly lined in cotton. I think it's alright for just under £35. It looks good and deep so I hope it will fit him. They didn't have the size I wanted on the shelf (5'9") but I asked and one of the staff went off and got one from the stockroom. They also had jods, numnahs, girths, headcollars, brushes and fly rugs and masks. The fly rugs were under £35 as well. This sounds like an advert for Tesco's but I can assure you I don't work for them and haven't any shares! They had riding hats too, but I would strongly advise against anyone buying them for the obvious reasons.
