Who has Libbys bridles??? I was considering to maybe get one in the winter time (i know, sorry i am all ready said the horrid W word before we have even had any sun) , as it would be more practical for riding out when raining. I brought a martingale from them the other day and i am very impressed with it, just put it in the washing machine and it is clean.

Bit sore, not so much the wound as the gas! I really want to pass wind but there's no hole to pass it out of! LOL!

I really liked the Plas Eaquestrian ones Sarah had when we visited her at Ripon. Hers were a few years old and looked great. I am thinking of one of these for Harvey or a Zilco one. I like the bright colours for extra visibility on the roads too.

We tried a Libbys' but didnt like it. We've had the Zilco one over a year now and I was it under the tap and rub it with a sponge - comes up like new. The stitching hasnt budged either. Seems a lot to pay but it has been worth it. Would l o v e one for Zoey ! LOL!

I love my Plas Equestrian bridles - fluorescent yellow and fluorescent pink ones! Though they do come in other colours too! The ones I get are from their Apollo range which are sealed webbing fabric, so they basically look like they are plastic-coated. Very easy to wipe clean or sling in the washing machine. Stitching etc has been fine over the years that I've used them. I don't get the webbing reins though, as I don't like the feel of them - very lightweight, but with Plas you can just request whatever pieces of the bridle (and design of bridle) you want, so it's easy to mix and match. Don't know how well this photo will come out, but this is Megz and me on a recent pleasure ride - Megz is wearing her Plas Equestrian fluoro bridle (just the headstall and browband. She's got a rather faded rope halter on underneath whose noseband you can see), and also wearing her fluoro hunting breastplate. Sarah
