Yes I would really like to know what people think of them. I know they are a bit pricey but I have a lot of horses to use it on so I guess it's not quite so bad. Jo x

I use one a lot. i would say that unless you are very knowledgeacle about working the hindquarters, have a pony who lunges nicely and an instructor who will teach you i would get a chambon instead. It takes a lot of patience to work your horse forward into the pessoa correctly and the temptation to take short cuts is tremendous!

I use one as well and find it excellent. I would echo what southerner says, they must go forward and start at the lowest setting. It is best to get someone to show you who knows what they are doing. It is very hard work for the horse, so dont over do it!

Gina gave me a demo of a Pessoa using Bramble, who went beautifully in it. I decided that I was far too inexperienced to use one on Bea - it would have been OK I think if there'd been someone who would have helped me get started and pull me up if I did it wrong, but I just got confused by all the ropes! I think they're a good training aid.....but in the right hands. Will have to look up a chambon - don't know about those.
