Red Rum Sheath Wipes - These are only a about £1.60 and are so convenient. It means you aren't having to worry about washing cleaner off and messing with water etc. which I know can irritate some horses. They can be used to clean mare's teats too.

Hope it doesn't make them run as fast as Red Rum Alison!! Lol!
It's a job I hate doing, think it should bedone by someone who is familiar with the male anatomy! ie; husband! He won't go near it!
Both the boys seem to enjoy it though and are not a problem to do and I've used the wipes, they are nice and convenient.

Might get some for my girls as they love having their bits cleaned, think it gets them quite excited!

the red rum cucumber wash is nice for sweaty bits afetr rides, i see they do a fly repellant one as well but haven't tried that. My mares have their bits done with a flannel and johnsons baby softwash! Jo x

I use the cucumber wash too, it's loverly. I have some made up in a spray bottle and they seem to not mind it as much as the fly stuff! Luckily my boys keep their 'bits' nice and clean somehow! Theough H gets very bitten on his sheath so I put softening anti fly stuff on it - he does like that!!!
