Can any one recommend a non slip numnah? Hamish is very wide and flat backed, I ride him in a Fheonix with a neoprene numnah which is on its last legs. Ii'm looking for a replacement that will help to prevent slipping, any suggestions?

I have a fheonix saddle and use a Griffin hi-wither sheepskin numnah. My saddle doesn't slip.

someone mentioned something called a "razer" to me which is supposed to be a good non slip numnah which holds your saddle in place. has anyone heard of these and know what they are like?

I have a Fhoenix prolite with a Barnsby Grip pad and it definitely does not slip! As Kristy says not cheap though, think mine was around £55.
I also have an Impakt pad which is quite sticky as well, although it does make them sweat.

I used a Impakt GP, ordered it through Horsedata web site a year ago, the company was very helpful and the numnah is very good. Not very cheap, but worth the money.

I'm another fan of the Barnsby Grip Pad - so much so that although they're expensive I wouldn't dream of using anything else now (particularly since M is a) round and b) wicked so he knows precisely how to throw the saddle sideways...)

Glad you got sorted Alison, I too would have recommended the barnsby grip pad as that works for Penny and I too.
