No it wasn't, but it wasn't all that dear - we just had lots of extra visits etc and it was a couple of hours drive each way - just have to put it down to experience  |

Barbara it really is difficult for us, we have to hire a 4x4 to tow so we are not used to travelling and the majority of the stallions are a fair distance from us + Tom has taken early retirement so our income has dropped a lot

Could you not borrow one to run with the mare(s) for a few weeks, well a month or so? Who is your nearest, nice handsome stallion that you would want to use?

Barbara, I don't know any one with a stallion well enough to borrow from, also don't think I'm brave enough to have one here - god only knows what Prince would think, he thinks he's the resident stallion anyway ;D. Think I'll have to buy one already in foal lol ;D
