that Molly is not in foal. It will be either 15 or 12 weeks this weekend. I have been watching her carefully every three weeks and have not actually seen any signs of her coming in season. But yesterday and today, I have been sure I have seen her squirting. Have rushed down the field on both occasions, but no more obvious signs - I think I may as well get the vet to do the blood test so I will know one way or the other, thats if the vet can get near with the needle of course.

Fingers still crossed for you that she is in foal. I watch mine every day to see if they are showing any signs of being in season. Delight went 27 days last month, the scan was arranged for the 28th day. The night before the scan she was seen winking at Beau, I couldn't believe it.

Fingers crossed Mair
Someone told me a lot of people were having trouble getting mares in foal this year, and I heard the same about 3/4 years ago, global warming again I suppose

I have had to wait until she was 121days Bev, just in case she did not catch the first time round. For this blood test its 100 days. Just added it up, and should be ok now. So will ring the vet and get him out. And then try and hold Molly when she sees the needle - not easy when she is vertical and vet is trying to retrieve their needle.
You will all be told as soon as I know.

Hope all is still well with the foal to come. Remember, sometimes mares can show heat and still be in foal. I have 2 do that this spring, both still bred, ultrasounded to make sure.
