I can trace my WBxTB mare back to 1600s. It's fascinating. One of her ancestors had the delightful name of Bloody Buttocks!

LOL, great name. I know I've spent hours putting all my ponies ancestors on there, it's a really good site.

I like that site too. Someone said it wasn't all that accurate when you get way back into the years, but I think it's great. There are some amazing names and some of them didn't seem to have names - just 'Dave's Black Mare' and 'Blind Mare' and things like that!
