I am hoping to put Dolly, my dales mare, to a stallion next spring. I live in North Yorkshire, are there any stallion in my area? I have spoken to Jo and she said due to Dolly pretty rare bloodlines I can choose most stallions. Is there a breeder at Northallerton? and does anyone know what his stallion is like? Is it best to run with the stallion or serve in hand? What do most breeders like to do? Thanks for your help

Hi, Is it castle hill luke near north allerton? Hes nice if it is. I dont think its better to cover either way but prince covered claudia in hand. I prefer this option myself as i think there is less likely to be injuries and sometimes maiden mares wont stand to be covered even when in season. But i know alot of people prefer to run mares with stallions. Jo

Hi Jo, yeah I think it is - does he take visiting mares (is the breeder Mr Bielby?).
