Or maybe there is another reason Molly is definitely looking rounder on her tummy!!
Strangely enough, its only this week that I have noticed she has grown outwards, and if you stand in front of her, she does look quite round. Not big by any means, but it is encouranging all the same. No bagging up yet, though. An old horse man told me she will definitely go 12 months, so quite a few weeks to go yet if thats so.

Ah, Molly does talk - to Kathryn lol!! Still no udder, although I check every day hoping for even a little swelling in that area!! Molly is probably fed up of me peering underneath her, and the neighbours in the old people's flats at the bottom of the field must wonder what on earth I am doing!! Belly not got any bigger yet ......so may still be the grass.
I suppose Molly will string this out as long as she can. After all, it must be nice to see Oliver and Tilly trooping off on a ride, while she is tucking into that nice grass, happy in her retirement!!
The worrying thing is I have had people ask when Tilly's foal is due!!!!

I am happy to say, that at long last, I am confident enough to believe Molly IS in foal. She has suddenly in the last couple of days begun to look a lot rounder, and whereas Olivers roundness is soft when you touch it, Mollys bump is definitely hard.
Oooh ......shall I start worrying/panic now? LOL!!!

Well, she was covered 22nd May last year, so I am assuming she will go pretty much 12 months with her first foal ......maybe not. I suppose it will come when its ready. No bagging up yet though.

The stallion was the gorgeous Walesmoor Emperor, owned by Don Crow, Gill.
