Just returned from my weekly lesson, with bad news. Trooper, a lovely horse, developed colic and had to be put to sleep last night. He was 25 and had given 21 years service to the same riding school. He was great with beginners and advanced riders alike, and we will all miss him. East London is a poorer place for his passing. xxxxxx
