Ang - Escrick Park is on the A19 south of York. There are around 27 miles of off-road tracks and paths through woodland and farmland. There are also lots of XC jumps all through the woods, all of different shapes and sizes to suit most ability levels. It's a lovely place, we had a smashing DPS area ride there. Gosh it must have been in 2004 because I did it with Alfie - time really does fly!!!
Edited to say that another plus in its favour is that the tracks are suitable for carriages as well - so the drivers can join in too.

Hi Everyone, Without trying to put a downer on this, but i'd just like to say that if you are planning on taking your horses there, the jumps and things are nice (as me & lea did some of them) but please, please be careful as it was Escrick Park where Lea went down the cattle grid about 6 weeks or so ago. I just felt I should say thats all as I would never wish seeing something like I did that day upon my worst enemy!! Anyone who does go, I hope you have a good time. Lisa & Lea xxx
