Are you coming down the A1(M) South? If so, come off at J42 (signed for Selby) You will go up the slip and straight on to a ridiculous roundabout where the junctions are too close together! First exit off there. Follow that road until you come to another roundabout, and straight over that one (signed for Monk Fryston - A63) Go through Monk Fryston and out (will go past a disused petrol station on your right as you exit) Follow road through hambleton, out of hambleton and over a flyover. After flyover there is a roundabout, take 2nd exit (signposted Brayton) and follow the bypass down - dont speed down there as it is a police check spot and is awfully tempting!!! You can actually see Mill Lane on your left as the bypass runs behind it! You will come to another roundabout, where you take the 1st exit (signed Brayton) and then the 1st left turn after that which is Mill Lane. Mill Lane stables is way up the top - you cant miss it!

I did an AA road traffic check yesterday and thought I'd mention this incase anyone is coming this way - although I doubt it as I think I'm the only one coming from that direction. It says the A63 between Howden and the Barlby junction with the A19 is closed to traffic.

Ah ha - easy peasy!! LOL
You will be coming off at the Whitley Bridge Junction then - J34?
The roundabout on a bridge!!!! Take the 2nd exit on to the A19 and you basically hold that road all the way in! (The only time you turn off is to get onto Mill Lane.) You will go come to a small (but not quite mini) roundabout - straight over, past Eggborough Power Station on you right, over a bridge that goes over the river and into Chapel Haddlesy, down a straight piece of road, over a bridge (think its a railway bridge!) and into Burn. Go through Burn at 30 as its a police speed check area! Out of Burn (you will pass a boarded up pub called the Anchor on your left by the river) and to a roundabout. Straight over at the roundabout (2nd exit) towards Brayton and then Mill Lane is the 1st turning on the right as you enter Brayton. The stables are a well past all the houses on the left.
Does that make any sense?

Row - what else will you be doing instead?! LOL
100 miles is a good drive, granted. Do a deal with yourself. If it is nice weather (it had better be!) then the drive will be easy, so do it! If the weather is crud, draw a line through it as it is no fun driving in the elements - especially that distance!
Is there no-one near you that you could 'cross paths' with and travel up together?
