You should try and persuade them to have a section for unregistered ponies - it would be a good idea. Like the performance show, they could state they must be dales/fell types.

I would love to ... but it is too far when I have never done it before. Def want to do it next year when I am more confident jumping and have had a go at a little xc

We are not 100% confident yet either, but are hoping to just give Asti a little more experience, but in fun surroundings! Mum on the other hand will be reading a book, drinking tea and just waiting trying not to worry about what daughter is up to!

I also think we should have a meet up at gg centre, races around the gallop - dales instead of thoroughbreds hehe!

I think we should definitely consider having our own Dales Pony Performance One Day Event next year, it would mean having to get lots of helpers as well as entrants but do you think it's do-able? Am off now to find the Uk Chasers booklet to see what courses there are around here. WE have a small x-country course close to me in Yorkshire but they only have one 'baby' jump - the first log - all the other small heights are 2ft and that is too much for most of us! ;D |

OK, somewhere fairly central would be a good idea, but then everyone has their own ideas about where central is! I think if we can find out where most people who express interest would be, then tht would be a start. Yes, Alison, I would be up for this.

be taking part in any 1DE, LOL, but I am more than happy to offer any sort of help needed, before, during and after. It's a great idea and I'm excited about it already. I'm happy to travel anywhere.
