I know a few of us have mentioned catching up a gain. I wondered if we could organise ourselves and meet for breakfast/lunch or something on one of the days.

It's on Sat 4th and Sunday 5th November. It was good last year and was good to catch up with people. Well worth a visit. The timetable is up now on the YOur Horse Live website. Allow a full day. You can stay over at ours if you want and travel down early morning. Lots to see and spend money on too!

Oh I'd love to come and meet up with you all. Trouble is it is being held once again on "bonfire weekend"! Why on earth do they pick this weekend every year when, surely, many horse owners who would love to go need to be at home babysitting their horses through the firework parties? I did write a letter of complaint about it last year but got no responce.

I usually go to this, always a good place to spend money! I can probably go either day.

I know it's a pain Pam. I drove like mad last year to get back in time to make sure I was around. At least this year the 5th is on a Sunday so I'm thinking about going Sat and being around for the crazy night of the 5th (unless everyone uses the whole weekend to let the blasted fireworks off)

I remember us having this discussion last year. I like to be around on bonfire weekend - although I have to say, my gang seem fine with the fireworks. And yes, we have it both days. Poor Harriet the goat suffered though, she was terrified every year and hid in the corner of her shed. It was only a couple of weeks after bonfire night when she died last year.
