Black Hairies Classical Dressage comp

Following on from the DF gathering yesterday, my friend Irene thought it might be fun to run a Dressage Competition for Dales, Fells, Friesians and hairy look-alikes this summer at her place near Grimsby. It would be aimed at very Novice horses/ponies and also Novice riders and would be walk/trot tests only, using the Classical Dresage tests.

Irene thought we could run 2 arenas, an outdoor one on grass and one in her indoor school which is just under 20x40. It doesn't matter if we only get small entries, it would all be just for fun to encourage people. I've said I would be happy to help her run it and we thought some time in the school summer hols would be best.

I have stabling for 2 extra horses and Irene has plenty of stabling too if anyone wanted to stay overnight. If any one is interested, please PM and let me know what sort of dates you think would suit you best and we'll try and arrange it around that.

I'm really looking forward to this as hopefully Nars will have had some basic schooling by then. Louistic should also be fit enough for Nicki to bring him over.

Wish I were closer, I would attend. I think these ponies will make fab classical dressage prospects. Classical is the way to go!
