I would also be interested in any reports from this conference. I went to a similar one some years ago when Quest first came down with laminitis and I learnt an awful lot from it.

Yes, have got my ticket. I lost my 2 old mares to Cushings and Laminitis 2 years ago so I want to try to make sure it never happens again. They were in their twenties but they were the type that should have made their 30's without Cushings. They were helping me with Bella and Jack, leading them out, etc. and I wasn't sure I could do it without them for a while. I'd had them a long time and we all knew each other inside out.
Isn't it frightening how common Laminitis has become? I read somewhere that it's now the 2nd most common cause of fore limb lameness after foot infections. When I first started in horses it was years before I came across it, and I was at a 60 horse yard. Makes you wonder....
