Took me ages to plait him up so set off slightly later than I wanted to. Got there to find we'd missed the ridden coloured- poor entries so they were running early (I usually allow 1/2 an hour per class and end up waiting!!). Hey ho. Lu was doing the in hand coloured with him so got him ready and stood around for ages- think they had realised they were losing entries so had a break between each class. Paddy was a bit of a pain- would not stand in the line, then didnt want to trot! 9 in the class and he is still quite ribby, he didnt get placed. I decided to trot up afterwards and use it as an experience- the little so and so wanted to go then, launched into the air and landed on the side of my ankle. Ouch!! Anyway, he could have been far worse, the weather wasn't brill so not too disappointed. Pic when we got him- cant really see but every rib was very easy to feel Today

The 2nd pic lol! I think that was taken on the final walk round- there were 3 mini coloured shets / falabellas in front of him and he was transfixed by them!! Shame he didnt look like that the entire class!

Did you go to Castleford? I only decided on Deighton as my classes were in the afternoon. As Dan has just come in off nights, he refused to take us anywhere prior to lunch! LOL He needs his beauty sleep or he is vvvvveeeeerrrrrryyyyy cccrrraannnkky!!

Yes we went to Cas- the turnout seemed very poor compared to previous years, most ridden classes had 4/5 in, inhand not many more. Hence classes running so quickly. Cas is closer to us plus Deighton didnt have an inhand coloured else we'd have gone there Where are you showing next?

Ohh - we had a similar clashng of events last year between show and gran's 90th - Gran won!!! I think I will only be able to go in the AM as Dan is on nights again, so will have to have us home and get ready to be at work for 6pm. He wont want to be at a show ground all day, thats for sure! So I may do a couple of inhand classes and call it quits! www.homestead-livery.co.uk/calendar.phpLink for schedule!

He looks lovely, a very nice stamp.
Its funny what you said about the minatures, when I showed Danny I used to try and make sure that there was a shetland in front of us, it was amazing how much more presence Danny had as he was really interested in the little people, lol!
