Are they all a handful? is there such a thing as a well mannered 1,2,3 yr old How do you get them used to all the standing around, trotting up when asked, is it all just practice, practice, practice or are some nice and quiet anyway. I would think I would need to take him to a few shows just walking around etc first or do you just all or nothing go and enter and hope for the best. I dont want to make a fool of myself all I have shown are dogs and even then its lurchers so its not the full kennel club stuff Oh my god can I do this

keep the hard feed to a minimum and give plenty of exercise. unfortunately its LOTS and LOTS of hard homework. we take them straight out and into the ring, but you may feel happier to take him out just to have a look around. the biggest thing to watch is when you get to the showground......all the different smells your boy will react to and how he does react.
