I am going to IF ONLY which is a farm about an hour away from me this morning to show. It is a schooling show. Riding Comet a friend's horse as my mare does not like to be trailered. PLUS I can't have her stressed while in foal. This farm is beautiful. 2 indoors, 3 outdoor, and lots of barns. But, no parking for larger trailers. Last time I went there were so many M&M ponies! I was in heaven. I do hope I do okay. I have not ridden this boy in months. Have to do a crash course with him in the round pen. He is 4 or 5 quarter horse and the full brother to the girl that is also riding from the same barn. We are gonna see which brother shows better.

Oh that sounds cool. What is a "schooling" show - I've never heard of one of those before.
Good luck!

A schooling show here is a show that you go to knowing that it is for those who are still learning. Like they may let you have the wrong saddle pad, not the correct clothes (due to weather), and the horse or pony may not be groomed okay so you can see how the pony would do around other ponies. Also to see how the rider will do with other ponies. I placed 2nd and 5th and the other rider on the same horse placed 6th and 1st. I couldn't believe it. Anne
