Oh typical Leann, always the way isn't it? I'm sure you'll have the lovely Connie looking just fine for tomorrow. She always looks immaculate and sparkling white in all the pics I've seen. Can you put her in a thin rug for the night and keep her in?
Enjoy the show tomorrow and take lots of pics.

LOL, i had the same probablem last weekend with my Yellow Dun who thinks he is a grey, LOL. He was all clean on Saturday and Saturday night it rained and he had laid in the muddy part of the field and i am sure rolled all night, LOL. Luckily i didn't trust him to stay clean and got up early enough to bath him first thing Sunday morning.

That's the worst about greys Leann! Can you just do a mane and tail wash then sponge down the worst and keep her in with a rug on head to tail?? (dan even got filthy like this lol). Cowboy Magic green stain remover is brilliant (think that's what it's called anyway).
Good luck at the show anyway, what are you doing?

Oh the joys of showing!! I remember that sinking feeling when you see them in the morning after you've slaved all the previous day over a hot bucket!!!!!!!! Thats the great thing about black Dales ponies, they dont show the dirt AND you dont need to plait!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If it isnt very cold I'd bath anyway and rug. Have a nice day tommorrow.

Teh yard owner has said she can stay intonight to keep her clean so hopefully it will just be the odd stable stain tomorrow to see to. Gill and Bev. I'm just doing an inhand class with her and a freind is doing Riding club type pony class with 2ft 6in juumps. Keep your fingers crossed for us won't you .

LOL Leann - you're welcome. The buckets of water were the least of my worries - I've just been heaving bags of compost and gravel around at home LOL
Connie will be gorgeous tomorrow...there'll be two of us to scrub any stable stains in the morning so don't worry. LOL - better fill my sloe gin hip flask...looks like we might need it LOL!!

I hope you will be offering that gin stuff around Sue!!! LOL
I have come home (about an hour ago!) from bathing the hairy monster! Luckily he was a gent today! Sometimes he can be a right Rodney!!! He quite happily stood and immersed all his feet in buckets for me and was scrub a dub dubbed! That is the only way I can bath those feathers! Poor fella has to stand in a tub trug!!
I know he will look a state by morning though! OH is whining as apparently it is going to rain tomorrow now! Had I not bathed him i would have scratched the day - however - we are going! The box is already hitched on - we are off! Please, please can the sun shine!!!
Good luck with those stable stains Leann - we had a grey arab when we were younger! He was always more yellow! LOL I'm sure she will look divine!!!!
See you tomorrow!!!!
