ridden showing, saddle questions

Just wondering what type of saddle do you show in? Does it have to be a show saddle or can you use a dressage or GP saddle.
What colour again does it really matter whether its havana, black, tan red even (jk) lol I dont have a red saddle in case anyine is wondering I do have an oxblood bridle though but I know I couldnt show in it

brown is the 'correct' colour for tack when showing but black is fine.as for the type of saddle, whatever you ride in would be ok but if your goig to do county level a showing saddle would be better

I have a jeffries working hunter saddle. It is a compromise between a showing saddle and GP. It is cut straight at the front, so shows off the shoulder and action much better!! Oh, and it's black!!!
