Linda! You definately don't have a large posteria!!!!!! LOL
It's not the wobble at the back I'm worried about - more the gut I'm developing at the front! I suppose at least I'll have somewhere to perch my thermos flask when we stop for a break. LOL
Can you get "support" thongs or for they do equestrian "magic knickers"?

I decided that the way to make my first milllion - jodhpurs that don't show the cellulite - even people who didn't have it would want to buy them just in case, but I can't find any industrial material for the job - I'm just very brave and do the thong thing much to everyones amusement (and I have ample buttocks - if not a little agricultural!) or try cycling shorts

I got a pair of non vpl knickers from M & S they are quite big but really thin slipp material with no elastic anywhere and kind of scalloped edges to ther legs. They work but are bright pink!

ROFL!!!! this is a great thread, I remember the last one too lol. Im laughing at ang's 'agricultural bottom' LOL!!! Im not ashamed to say I love big pants LOL! Sloggies are great! My mum in law brought me a bag of about 20 pairs of big pants tonight funnily enough! Said they were all too small for her and Im the only one who wears them lol! Caroline, support thongs would be a piece of baling twine I think!

ROLF Bev, baling twine ;D ;D that's just given me the giggles, now what you all really need is what my mum would have called a roll on or pantie girdle that would stop the wobble

I much prefer some firm support round my bum and tum when riding. It's not so much that my bum wobbles, it's the saggy post-baby bit at the front that wibbles. BIG, light support briefs are great and the ones without elastic round the legs mean minimal VPL.

Guess i have to agree with caroline here. I adore my thongs and wearing then while riding is the only way for me. They are so comphy, ive got my eldest wearing them out riding as well now.

Lets face it, some of us have got tidier bums than the rest of us. I think you can only wear thongs if you are pretty hairless or have a "crack wax!" (Only just been educated as to one of these is by one of our more educated members!) LOL! Also some of us have bums that have suffered a lot of trauma having kids and things are just not as tidy as they were! LOL! If I wear a thong, lets just say it's like having dental floss plucking things out and trying to amputate bits of my bum. I think I'll stick to big nicks and leave the dental floss to those better put together individuals or those who have lost all feeling in their nether regions!

I think it also depends on the mileage you do, after 25 miles the more buttock padding the better, ESPECIALLY if you have a skinny posterior.
I have a 'no bum' bum and theres no way Id ride in a thong. (The payment for wearing one at any time would have to be fairly hefty)

Oh I remember this thread too from the old board....... and remember doing a pleasure ride in a thong.........OUCH!!!!! Never again, felt like I'd been flossed!
Big pants are definitely the way forward for comfort, and I use Brigette Jones pants too (but don't hang them on the line, there are things you do NOT want your father-in-law to see!).
Either that or none at all.................not for me though!
