I can't stop smiling....we did really well at the show again today! We got 2nd in ridden cob type, 3rd in riding club horse and 2nd in m+m working hunter. Woohoo! ;D I'm really enjoying this showing now...can't believe I didn't try it out earlier!
I also met a really nice lady with dales ponies who was very complimentary about Jay. She thinks he is a pure dales and not a cross, as he was sold to me. I've always thought he was just like an over-grown dales, so maybe he his! She's suggested going to the performance show in august, as there would be classes I could do without him being registered. Just got to persuade my OH to drive me there now (not got my trailer licence yet)....it's a bit of a hike!

Well done you! Another set of fantastic results.
You should go to the performance show! I went for a watch last year and really enjoyed it! I am taking Dancer D this year though. So there goes the stress level through the roof!! LOL

It was me ;D ;D ;D who expressed an interest. He is certainly not 14.2" lol but claire and I watch him warming up and expected him to go in the large m&ms but no he went in the cob class! Watched that class but I was no were near any of his others. I must say he looked very well! I could certainly have brought him home with me! Valerie.

Hannah - thats a shame about Wilmslow, very frustrating! I'm not far from Tarporley.
Thanks for everyone's kind comments....I'm so proud of him!
It was lovely to meet Valerie at the show. She mentioned the performance show to me. I'm hoping to come along....just need to persuade my OH its not too far! I think we'd probably need to stay over somewhere though or it would be a very early morning!
Looks like we've got a busy summer coming up. I just need to get some more lessons in and practice!
