Our East Anglian Native Pony results!

Oooh well a fun day in the blazing heat!! We set off at 3.30am (yes three thirty AM there is no typo ;D ;D) to Huntingdon for the Dales classes today. Nice to catch up with lots of people I've not seen for a while and a really nice day out.

Little Clemmie was the star of the day bless her; she won her class and then went on to take Youngstock championship. Very pleased with her. She's a little wary of the judge after taking a fright last show so was finding moving forward a little scary at times but everyone was very patient with her and she did really well.

Laura and Sonny also had a great day; he did a fab job in the riddens against a seriously strong class (C.Hill Flash headed the line so you can just imagine). Ministrel and Claire took second in that class which was just fab too. Sonny and Magic also took a second in their inhands

We've only one decent photo of any of them and thats of Magic. Hopefully the professional photos will come out a bit better!!

Anyway here it is...


Phew...now to find the aftersun and look forward to Southern next week

Well done to you and all the ponies!! I think you were brave standing out in the hot sun - I would have fainted probably had I been in my show jacket!!!

Well done all of you. It must have been sweltering showing in the heat. Do they make you keep your jackets on for showing or is it like dressage where they allow you to ride without jackets in extreme heat? Looking forward to seeing some more pics.

Thanks everyone for the lovely comments, I'm really looking forward to next weekend too Mabel, its something different if that makes sense we do the same set of shows year in and year out.

It was sweltering but lucky me didn't have anything to handle so I was catching a tan whilst being general skivvy Its a very rare day where they let you take show jackets off and yesterday wasn't that day.
