Have just posted entries for llittle charlie's first in hand shows and had an attack of the jitters lol Haven't done any "proper" showing before but have been watching and reading up, have been practising at home but still have flashing images of being dragged out the ring or something horrible like that, even though he's mostly a really good little lad! Jason says I should get sponsored by rescue remedy The first show's a nice local one, mixed class for all m&m, on the 22 July so still got quite a bit of time to prepare omg omg omg lol will get a nice recent photo on here later!

Let me know if you manage to figure out how to control the nerves - the Bakewell Dales and Fell show next weekend will be our first (no- that's not right, my first coz Raven is an old hand!) and I am scared!! Good luck and let us know how you get on. Alison

WEY HEY The first Oakgate baby meets the world!!! The nerves will go once you get on with the job and then hit you as you leave the ring!! You've done plenty of groundwork with him so you're well prepared. He will probably be bouncy and a bit silly and shout to everyone so get there with plenty of time to settle him. I'm sure he will do you proud and make sure you get lots of pics.

Oh I'd try and leave longer than that. Remember when you get there you will have to book in with the seceratary and collect your number. Then go and find where your ring is and how to get to it. I've got lost more than once!! Then get him out give him a walk round for a bit then you will have to take him back to the trailer for last minute touch ups hoof oil mane and tail brush plus change your clothes and have a good slug of vodka before you go in!!

You're right Molly2 - I read the date for your show as 22nd June. Will let you know how it goes and if the nerves are manageable. Very scared - what if I fall over or Raven takes off across the field!
