Went really well last night - we had two arenas running and each entrant had 15 mins each to have a go over the course. We guided everyone round the obstacles and gave feedback based on the rule book but everyone went away with a on their face and most people tried every obstacle. I was gutted I could not do it though having to organise it so hope to go and hire an arena next week to have a go. It was great fun and I met lots of nice friendly folk.

Good to hear it went well. Hope to have a go at "proper" Trec sometime, when I can find something relatively nearby on a day when nothing else is happening. My only experience of it so far has been a kind of mini-trec set up by the riding school owners where I used to ride, and that was great fun. Did help, though, already knowing the area, for the orienteering bit!

Sounds like good fun- was tempted but I was having to persuade Mum to drive, then Yeti went lame so couldnt have come if she'd have agreed!

I'd love to have a go too. We get a mini Le Trec without the orienteering fairly locally but other than that they're a good way off. 2 Hrs driving the trailer is about my limit - 60miles!

Pandy and I had a great time, thanks, I was really nervous, but was put at ease by all the helpers that where there. I was really pleased with how Pandy went, some things need practise, but hopefully we will be ready for the trec in July.
