Had a brill day today. Mischief won a strong youngstock M&M class and went on to be reserve champion. She is doing quite well up to now. At North Eastern Counties she was M&M champion then reserve supreme of show, at The North of England show she won and was reserve M&M champion behind a gold medal winning section A stallion and so we are over the moon tonight. Sorry, we have no pictures as the photographer had not put any up and their was a big queue to look at computer. It was nice to see quite a few Dales at the show this year including Colliery Grace and Village Black Rose.

Well done with Mischief. She did look lovely and was moving out so nicely. Sorry I didn't get to have a quick word with you - we had quite a walk around the showground before the class, and then opted for just loading Rose up and heading off home straight after as she'd really been so good about all the excitement of the show. I loved watching her expression as she looked across at the coloured horse class, and even more so when she saw the carriage driving.
Ah, who was the mare and foal that you brought along? Foalie looked to be very cool about it all when looking at the youngstock class!

Thanks Sarah. The Mare and foal were Mr Bielbys' Hodgson Lane Lucky Lady with her colt foal. he was so good. It was his first trip away from home and he took it all in his stride. The only sticky moment was actually persuading him to come out of the wagon.

That'll have been a nice, short trip out for the colt - very handy having a show so near their home! LOL at him needing persuading to UNload!!!
