It was a lovely day yesterday - a tad warm at times but we shouldn;t complain........ Doris did really well, she got; 6th place out of 10 in the senior mares in hand which I was very pleased with 3rd place out of 7 in the open ridden class which I was VERY pleased with and ..................... drum-roll please............... 1ST place in the dressage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How did that happen? ? ;D I told the judge I was going HC as we were in the pelham, but in the end quite a few people went in with 'wrong bits' so they just deducted some marks of all those people and put us all back into the placings........ Good Girl Doris.... ;D Lovely to see everyone and ponies too - I did not get much chance to see any of the fells at all. And thankyou to Clair for asking me ride Fergie in the championship - it ended my day with a bigger smile on my face - she is just hilarious to ride (she has forgotton how to trot but her canter is superb! LOL)

It really wasn't much of a surprise to some of us Alison that you did so well in the dressage - Doris has such lovely controlled paces, jsut right for the discipline. Well done on all your results.
