At last a few fell pics from Bakewell. I have got so many pics on the computer it's taking ages to sort out (and I should be working too lol!) This is the mare we took the trailer up to collect. My friend bought her from Cumbria and she was delivered to the show. Brackenbank Princess This is Greenholme Captain - 17 years old and second in the 4 and over geldings. He is out of Greenholme Glory so a half brother to my Freya and also Kermie's Magic. My friend Di on Scotgate Solitaire (Sparkie) Lineup Brackenbank Maggie May - youngstock champion (3 year old) There were only two fell foals This foal reminded me so much of Shropshire Lad, the foal I lost last year.... Will see if I can sort some more out later.

LOL, Sue! No, Princess is not for me but she will be living nearby. I spotted her on the FPS sales list and emailed the details to my friend. Carol was the first to phone and went up to Cumbria to see her. She fell in love with her and the owners said they would deliver her to the show. She is gorgeous isn't she!! I will probably regret finding her for Carol as now she will be beating us at all the local shows! ;D

Lovely pictures! There were lots of Fell ponies in a lorry behind us that had come from Cumbria.
Being quite daft here as I have just realised that I can see our waggon and Dilly and Rose behind the mare...DOH!

I loved the Brackenbank ponies - and as they were short handed got roped into showing their 2 year old in the youngstock championship. Not really sure how, as it was my first show ever and had only done the one class with Raven, but her name was Sorrel and she was beautiful. I think Isabel will have to have a Fell pony when she is older!

Sorrel is Princess's filly. I agree, she is beautiful, I wish I could have sneaked her into my trailer for me! ;D
