We had a good day on Saturday. Took Aaron out for his first party in a year 
and he won the 4 & over inhand class with Hetty in 2nd place.
Then it was young Emily's turn and she won the youngstock class.
Finally took Magic into the ridden and she won that, while Hetty was a respectable 5th after having a wrong leg that was quickly corrected by Emma the young girl who is riding her this year.
So 4 of the 6 ponies in the championship were mine and Aaron won champion (his first sash!) and Magic was reserve.
David Hibberd was judging and it was nice to have someone who knows a bit about the different breeds judging. He told me if I ever think about selling Aaron to let him know as his daughter would love to have him (she was stewarding for him)......that's one of those comments that means more than the rosettes!
