first time at breed show

took emily to our first breed show this weekend. Had a great day was fantastcally pleased to be placed in all three of the classes we entered. there were some very lovely ponies out and about I just wish I had more of a chance to watch the rings. I was so busy grooming and being anxious I missed most of the action!!!

It is par for the course, missing most of the action when grooming and getting ready for the rings. We are the same. Miss most of everything when we go!

As long as you enjoyed your first experience that is all that matters. Emily looks a nice pony.

thanks for the comments, Emily is fab, I've had her since October last year and she's given me so much.

We did have a good day. Her full name is Escowbeck Emily, out of Escowbeck Elsa by Lummas Prince II. She had two foals Escowbeck Echo and Eddie and she's 15 now. Hasn't really done much showing etc in the past nor have I but after a devastating loss of my tbx last year Emily came into my life and changed all of that!!!
She loves having her teats scratched, infact loves having anywhere scratched and is such a peaceful little mare, I really would be lost without her. Everyone should have a dales pony, the're fab.!!!!
