show yesterday

I was meant to take Jay and Archie to a show yesterday, but jay really 'had one on him' yesterday morning and was in a foul mood . It was really windy to, so I decided to leave him at home rather than end up on the floor! ;D But it was Archie, our miniature shetland's 1st ever show, so I decided to take him anyway.

He got 2nd in the in-hand shetland class!!!!! Not bad for a little pony that had been rescued from the side of the road! He had a great time and really showed off the ring! ;D The pony that came 1st went on to win the in-hand championship, so we didn't mind being beaten by him!

It was a North West Counties Qualifier, but unfortunately i don't think he'll be able to go....it says the small m+ms must be registered

This is the little guy....

...not an amazing picture,but the only one i've got on my computer!

The people we got him from had bought him from some people where he was tethered at the side of the road. They then sent their horses away for schooling and the little guy hated being on his own, which was how we came to have him. Him and Jay are inseparable! But Jay did tell him off when he got back from the show for going without him!

Its such a shame about the NW counties. I'll have to speak to the secretary about to confirm it

If you cant show him as an M&M why not register him with CHAPS and BSPA and do coloured in hand classes. He looks a super pony

Thanks sue...I'll look into that. Would definately like to do a few more shows with him because he seemed to really enjoy it!
