.  have had great fun this morning having a go at some Gymkhana games at the stables. Connie was very good ...not terribly fast but good otherwise , apart from her taking a dislike to a blue bucket that the wind caught... Oh and yes of course there were monsters in the hedgerow too. She didn't seem to mind bright green tennis balls even if her stupid mother had a problem getting them in the buckets without them bouncing out again lol  . Anyhow came away with a rosette so that was nice.
I love my pony ;D

I'm soooo jealous - I've always wanted to have a go at a Gymkhana but they never have any about here!
Its all about having fun isn't it - bet Connie enjoyed something different too?

Gymkhana games are great fun! Great to hear you took part with Connie, you are doing so well with her now Leanne Dan was brilliant at gymkhana, Anna used to love it and did some Prince Philip Cup games with him in Pony Club, everyone was amazed at how fast he was as when they first saw this fat hairy pony they thought he wouldn't be able to move LOL! |

That sounds like fun, Leann. I love gymkhana games! ;D Storm loves them too as does Poppy but she gets a bit too carried away and forgets the brakes lol!

I do a bit, mainly with tinker, as my friends two kids do games at ponyclub and we practise in the field. She is not very fast (understatement of the year) - especially on the way out - she has finally realised that she has to go fast on the way back but its still slow compared to the other ponies! LOL
It is great fun and really makes you think about your steering and the use of your legs.

Great fun! I love doing all the pony camp type things I missed out on doing when I was a kid! Makes me feel like a six year old again.

Thanks everyone... Connie was in the "clear round show jumping" yesterday at the stables where I keep her and a young lady took her round for me. She did 2ft 6inch course twice clear both times and then had a go a the 2ft 9inch with just arunout at one jump but then did a lovely round bless her. |
