Had a wonderful day out today. Saw Maxine and Jake do very well in their class. Jake looked wonderful and was SUCH a good boy for Maxine. I'll let Maxine tell you about it and I think Anna's dad should have a photo. Garry was a star and helped Maxine out getting ready. He really is a lovely boy.
Karen and Daniel did well too. The class was a big class of 22 and Karen came 11th! Daniel looked superb and went really well for Karen. Well, a bit lively in parts but he's only five! Brian came 3rd and looked superb on Colliery Grace. She is a beautiful pony.
Now I'm really sorry but I can't remember the name of the Manorian filly - I'm brain dead at the moment as I'm knackered but she did suberbly and came away with a championship! She's only 3 but she's a cracker!
Got some superb photos but I'm really tired now. Going to Pams tomorrow so will post some tomorrow night.

I posted at the same time but in horsey chat LOL so I thought i'd copy and paste it across here so its all in one place
Well done Manorian, Mischief went beautifully today and took the Dales championship. We've just got back from watching the evening performance and I got some (not very good) photos of her under the lights. Our Magic won the snr Dales class and took reserve champ, he was a bit norty in his run round - his new trick is to skip on his back legs LOL and our Clemmie took first reserve. I've some photos but way too tired to post tonight, i will have a sort out tomorrow once I'm back from the glynn greenwood classes. We hold no hope there with 41 entries in our class.
Our new chap had his first ever show out today and whilst he did lie at the wrong end I really can't be disappointed. He is a complete baby, including balking at the ring number but you couldn't expect anything more; its v.hard for a 2 yr old colt to have his first trip out, lots of things for his mind to be on and he didn't do anything wrong at all despite my extreme nerves and total wound-up ness LOL I'm really pleased with him tonight, he went lovely and we got a chance to show off his trot in the lap of honour when we just went for it LOL.

Well Manorian mischief had another fantastic day today but I'll let them fill you in...all I'm going to say is I hope you have some pictures of tonight We've just got back and had another good day. We were in the glynn greenwood champs today, there were 41 entered in the large, adult section so we decided top ten would be good. They also changed the format slightly, in previous years there has been a huge emphasis on performance and tbh we found it a little tiresome (its a bit much doing figure of eights and extension in an inhand class) so we welcomed the change. Anyway, after we all filed in and filled the small ring, they split us into two sections and did our single trot out. The judge signalled on certain horses after their trot and asked them to form the front line, we were delighted to see Magic included in this (only about 10 in total). Magic went much better today, he got his norty bug out yesterday lol and we were so pleased to come 5th in such a strong class. The fell stallion Rackwood Robin took first with a connie 2nd, new forest third, highland fourth and us fifth (lovely spread of breeds LOL!). Laura will fill you in on the breed ridden, all I will say is Sonny went really really well today. Castlehill flash took the winner and was very deserved, he was foot perfect and stunning with it. We were talking about him tonight and were saying that pony has not put a foot wrong all season and what a gem he is. Brian and Grace were second, it was a really strong class.
