we had our local jumping and gymkhana at our local pony club.
fran was just about to finish a clear round when sam stopped at the jump. fran was hanging on when she nearly made it back into the saddle and a plank of wood fell over nearby and sam spooked so fran hit the ground. very muddy, sore bum but ok.
he didn,t like the flags in the flag race. but he was so well behaved and so easy to take out and about.
then i was entered for the musical crates in the adult over 25's class -how sad- there were four of us i think i was the oldest at 45, so someone suggested 3 of the young adults join us. it was such fun and guess what! i came second, to i may add one of the under 25s so feeling quite chuffed with myself. coming in to riding in your 40s you miss out on the g games. so this is my first gymkhana rosette. tell you what, i didn't know i could jump off sam as fast as i was doing yesterday lol
