As my darling neddy has decided to rub all the coat of her muzzle and aquire a few scratches and cuts on her face/body (she's only doing it so we don't take her to the performance show - AND IT WON'T WORK TILLY!!!!!) I was thinking of getting some show makeup to hide the worst of it.
Has anyone used it - what do you think of it? Will it work on the large area of baldness on her face do you think?

I am sure you would like Tilly to look her best but as it is a 'Performance' show isn't it judged on her performance and how well she goes not on how layers of show shine and polish she has.
On the other hand a bit of slap and nice lippy can make you feel a lot better. LOL

It's a tricky one really!! I tried to cover up a scratch Rocky had, but it didn't really work well. All of these make-ups you can buy don't dry when on, so if a judge touches her she could get a black hand!! ALSO, if she touches your jacket you could end up with a nasty mark!! That has happened to me!

I always touch up the cuts and scrapes with some eye shadow powder! I never use it anyway!!

Soft eyeliner is out little trick, just do it the night before, rub it in, the next morning making sure you smudge it in and then touch up just before if necessary, it doesn't come off in the judges hands and just covers the worst of it.

I have some black wound powder which would cover it up. But Tilly has a habit of rubbing her face on whoever is standing close to her, so someone could end up having their nice white top or whatever they are wearing, covered in black smudges.
It does stand out with Tilly having a black muzzle, but I don't think it will affect her performance at the show. In fact, if she wears her snaffle with bit rings, it does not look too bad.
