Linda and Adamfield Flintlock Guess who?? Roger and Penmire Molly Grace (who came second in the M&M mare class) Penmire Del Boy (Molly's six week old foalie, aahhhh! who came first in the M&M Foal class) Sharon and Keybroyd Montserrat (who came 3rd in the 2-3 yo class) Well done everyone who took part! We were actually robbed as the judge was obviously a Welsh lover!! LOL! Mind, if I was judging I'd put Dales above most else! Hee hee! Thanks for a great day you chaps!! Lucy

Fab pics, that last photo is Sleddale Jeffery and Martin Crane, he's an old boy now but Jeffery is imo one of the nicest fells about and his show record reflects that.

To avoid fisticuffs (!) the schedule had two for Mrs J Crane, Underwoods Crideon and Sleddale Jeffery. I didn't see the class but this one was definately a stallion! There may have been others not in the schedule though? He was a handsome boy (and the pony wasn'd bad eiither!! Haha!) Profile pic if this is any help? Ooh there was a debate about who he was when I last looked? Looks like that's been decided now!

Ohh it could be either Lucy (Heather did mention they were taking Jeffery but that could have changed), well whichever he was he is still lovely.

Lovely pictures and super results. All the ponies look gorgeous.
I think that would be Gideon not Jeffrey, although I actually prefer the other stallion Rackwood Robin [totally awesome boy and took a phenominal amount of Supreme Champs at PUK this year - well deserved too, gorgeous boy] which I think the Cranes actually own, not sure if they own Gideon or Jeffrey, I have a feeling the Cranes show for the owners, I think they only show Fell stallions.

Lovely pics!
We usually do the driving class at Ashbourne, but with Molly being supposedly in foal, did not enter this year. Its a nice show though.

Thought I would settle the debate!! It was Underwoods Gideon that we were showing. I had Jeffrey entered as well but decided that Giddy was the least muddy on the morning of the show. Jeffrey had a very crusty mane filled with hawthorn brambles and mud so opted for the easier option. Still drying out from PUK though. The Welsh Mare that took champion and supreme (cough cough I know welsh is swearing) was one that we sold as a yearling that we sometimes show, she was related to my old cob stallion Ristol Dawn Flyer. Well done to her owners as they haven't been showing very long. They do have a fell as well so not all bad!! I really liked Roger's mare and foal I thought the foal was exceptional. Well done to everyone who went all of your ponies looked fantastic they were a credit to you. I would have had them all to win - but I am biased towards hairies!! It's just unfortunate it was a welsh judge. Maybe next year we will get a hairy judge.
