I was a little bit worried last week, but then had a ride on Tilly and felt much better. But today it's all suddenly dawned on me and I'm getting more and more and more nervous. WHY am I doing this. I shuold have just stuck to doing things on the ground. Why o why am I jumping?  ?? And WH - am I INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think we should just book the ambulance now... |

I'm in the same boat Olivia! It's only taken me 6 years to get to the PS! I've NEVER tried a WH course and up to a couple of minutes ago didn't know what I would have to do. I'm just taking comfort from the promise of Sloe Gin and wine!

What are you owrrying about Olivia, I saw you and Tilly at the performance show a couple of years ago and you both looked great when you had a go at jumping.

Linda - I'm very naffed off 'cause I've got to drive, so no drinky poos for me  Sue - unfortunately since then I've fallen off jumping and broken my arm, so my nerves are quite wobbly now. Oh well - even if I go in jump two fences and come back out at least I gave it a go!! |

You don't HAVE to do the jumping classes you know, I'm not! If Saturn would jump then I would do them but I know he won't as he's not had the experience so no point entering!
Olivia you were great last time on Tilly!!

While I can fully understand your nerves (after all I'm not brave enough even to enter and would be shaking if I was in your shoes) I have seen both of you riding and jumping really well, and I am absolutely sure that you both do yourselves justice and will really enjoy it (even if not until afterwards LOL). The sloe gin sounds like a really good idea too...
PS Bet you wouldn't get such a goodlooking ambulance crew as I had, so not worth booking, honest! I am sure you will both be fine (and will be keeping my fingers crossed for you all day - too many Dalesfans for me to keep my fingers crossed that you will all win LOL but can keep my fingers crossed that you all have a safe happy time ....

i'm very nervouse for the perfomance show with my nerves ETC n i dont know what possesd me to enter ther jumping lol im nervouse about the whole yhing in general but i did have a little go at in hand handy pony lol and had a little sit on him

Actually it's not so much the jumping - it's the carrying stuff in the handy pony! None of you saw how D bolted over the main road when I tried to pick up a carrier bag from my son! I got swept off by an overhanging tree and lovely young man did a spectacular emergency stop. Fortunately he thought it was funny. After that I'm a bit cautious about handy pony sort of stuff! Just how much Sloe gin is going to be available? lol!

Well linda I think if there is anything like bag picking up in the HP you should just leave that bit out!
I have been very confident of late, but now I may have to bring Tinks, who is v.fat, quite unfit and a mardy cow I am feeling anxious!!!!!!LOL
I think I will just do HP and maybe the showjumping..........

I'm just practicicing my dressage test in the kitchen along with teh "killers!" Do you htink they would let me bring my cd player along? If I had the gin and then playe dthe killers while I did the test I mighjt do ok!
